One of the most well-known theatres in the Berkshire area is
Williamstown Theatre Festival
located in the Northern Berkshire town of Williamstown Massachusetts. Each summer, the WTF (as it is called) offers a variety of performances featuring some of the best American actors in the country.
Just a few miles away, in the city of
North Adams,
is the
Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art

presents new theatrical works by up-and-coming performers from the Berkshire region and across the U.S.
